Responsibilities
Design new electrical systems and equipment or modify existing ones to improve efficiency and performance.
Develop detailed project plans, including specifications, designs, and cost estimates.
Conduct research to identify and apply new technologies or methodologies in electrical engineering.
Perform complex calculations to inform design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Create and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and schematics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct tests and analyze results to evaluate system performance and ensure safety standards are met.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement solutions.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong project management abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
